On Tuesday, two Croatian international left backs signed contracts with their new clubs.
Hrvoje Milić, who was capped six times for Croatia, returns to his homeland after spending last two seasons at Russian side Rostov, together with Croatian goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa.
26-year-old Milić joined Hajduk Split from Osijek in 2006, but later moved to Djurgardens in Sweden and Istra 1961. His second spell at Poljud Stadium starts with a three-year contract.
Marin Leovac, who signed with Rijeka in January 2014 from Austria Vienna, decided to continue his club career in Greece, at PAOK Thessaloniki, coached by Croatian Igor Tudor.
He signed a four-year contract after his performances at Rijeka earned him a maiden appearance for Croatia, against Argentina in November 2014. Later on, he also played a friendly against Gibraltar and a European qualifier against Italy in Split.
