Croatia national futsal team will face Russia and Kazakhstan at EURO 2016 in Serbia, with head coach Mato Stanković calling it the "toughest draw".
Mato Stanković's men were drawn in EURO 2016 Group C, together with Russia and Kazakhstan, and will fight for the quarterfinal berth.
"This is a very tough group, and everybody agrees it is the toughest in the draw, considering that Russia was twice the runner-up in the European Championships, and Kazakh clubs are two-times European champions. These teams are full of Brazilians, and I've made a joke speaking to UEFA that we will play Brazil sides both times, this tournament being the World Cup. We could not get a tougher draw from the last pot", said Croatia head coach.
However, Croatia will not raise the white flag ahead the trip to Serbia.
"Our guideline is the match against Spain at the EURO 2014 in Belgium. There we have shown that we can compete with the best teams. We have to prepare well and present Croatia in the best possible way", concluded Stanković.
