In a Budapest friendly, Croatia national football team and Hungary settled for a 1:1 draw.

Following the 2:0 win over the Israelis in Osijek, Ante Čačić's men were tested against the Hungarians, with Croatia head coach recording his first draw after four consecutive victories.
The first half offered only rare goalscoring opportunities, but Croatia managed to take the lead in 29th minute, when Perišić's cross from the left was met by Mandžukić's foot at the far post.
A couple of minutes before the break, Perišić's effort went over the bar following Croatia's counterattack, while Kleinheisler tested Kalinić with a shot from distance, but Croatian goalkeeper deflected it into a corner kick.

Kalinić was once again ready for Kleinheisler effort in the opening minutes of the second half, and Croatia came close to another goal in 76th minute. On as a fresh substitute, Srna was aiming the upper corner from a free-kick, but it went wide.
The Hungarian free-kick just three minutes later brought the equalizer. Captain Dzsudzsak nicely found Kalinić's net.
Into the added time, Croatia captain in Budapest Modrić tried to score with a low shot from the edge of the box, but Bogdan was not to be surprised, and the spoils were eventually shared.
