Croatia vice-captain Vedran Ćorluka will be available for the October qualifiers at Kosovo and Finland.
Croatia defender Vedran Ćorluka was injured in a Russian league match, playing for his Lokomotiv Moscow team.
"Ćorluka injured his muscle, and a MRI scan confirmed there is no rupture, just an adductor fatigue issue", said Boris Nemec, Croatia national team doctor, after contacting Lokomotiv Moscow medical staff, Ćorluka, and head coach Ante Čačić.
The Vatreni captain will continue his treatments and will be available for selection for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers away at Kosovo (6 October at Shkoder) and Finland (9 October at Tampere).
Croatia internationals will start the preparations on Monday, and head coach Čačić will announce the squad on Friday, 30 September.
