Nikola Kalinić in the Europa League team of the group stage

In Europa League Group J, Fiorentina managed to reach the second round topping PAOK, Qarabag, and Slovan Liberec with 13 points.

Three Croatian players wear Fiorentina jersey - Nikola Kalinić, Milan Badelj, and Hrvoje Milić - with Kalinić scoring on four occasions in the Europa League group stage.

He was included in the best team of the competitions, sharing strikers' honours with Džeko (Roma) and Bailey (Genk).

Otherpositions were covered by Jones (Feyenoord), Lirola (Sassuolo), Van Dijk (Southampton), Kjaer (Fenerbahce), Criscito (Zenit), Giuliano (Zenit), Holzhauser (Austria Wien), and Miličević (Gent).
