Croatia international Franko Andrijašević is to continue his club career in the Belgian top flight.
Following the highly successful season with HNK Rijeka - winning the domestic double- Franko Andrijašević agreed a move to Gent, where Croatia international goalkeeper Lovre Kalinić stands between the posts.
Andrijašević was awarded as the best player of Croatian First Division, while Croatia head coach Ante Čačić rewarded him with a call-up to the national team, for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier at Iceland.
Moreover, Andrijašević played for Croatia in January, at the China Cup in Nanning, where he scored a goal against South American champions Chile.
At club level, Andrijašević scored 18 times for Rijeka in 32 appearances. He started his career at Hajduk and Dugopolje, and later moved to Dinamo - including the loan to Lokomotiva - and Rijeka.
