Croatia striker Nikola Kalinić continues his club career at Italian giants AC Milan.

AC Milan strengthened the attack with Croatia international striker Nikola Kalinić, who joins San Siro side from Serie A rivals Fiorentina. The clubs agreed on one-year loan deal with the obligation to buy, with Kalinić signing a four-year contract.

During the two seasons at Fiorentina, Kalinić scored 33 goals in 83 appearances, playing alongside Milan Badelj, Hrvoje Milić, and Ante Rebić.

Mario Pašalić wore the red-and-black jersey last season, on a loan deal from Chelsea, while former Croatia captain Zvonimir Boban, Dario Šimić, Dražen Brnčić, and Dario Smoje also defended AC Milan colours.

Kalinić started his career at Hajduk Split, including the loans to Pula and Šibenik, and later moved to Blackburn Rovers and Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. He was capped 36 times and scored 14 goals for Croatia.
