Zagreb qualifier abadoned due to heavy rain

2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Croatia and Kosovo at Maksimir Stadium was abandoned due to unsuitable pitch condition.
Croatia and Kosovo kicked-off on Saturday evening despite heavy rain in Zagreb, but after 22 minutes and a ten-minute break, it was decided that the weather conditions do not allow play to resume.
The decision on the restart will be announced later.
Ticket refunds will be available.
