Nikola Kalinić, AC Milan and Croatia national team striker, is to miss European Qualifiers clashes against Finland and Ukraine due to adductor injury.
Following the MRI scan in Milano, AC Milan and Croatia medical staff have agreed that Nikola Kalinić will not be available for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on 6 October (Croatia - Finland) and 9 October (Ukraine - Croatia).
Therefore, Kalinić joins Vedran Ćorluka, Mateo Kovačić, Marko Pjaca, Tin Jedvaj, and Borna Barišić on Croatia's injury list. Dejan Lovren is to skip the Finland encounter, and could be available for the Ukraine visit, depending on his recovery.
Due to Lovren and Barišić injuries, Croatia head coach Ante Čačić has decided to promote Duje Ćaleta-Car from Croatia U-21 to the senior squad.
