Upon the completion of the qualifying and play-off rounds, the pots have been confirmed for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Final Draw.

Croatia national football team has secured World Cup berth defeating Greece 4:1 on aggregate in the European play-offs, and on Thursday all of the final play-off matches have been completed.

The total of 32 teams now await the Final Draw on 1 December in Moscow, with Croatia in Pot 2, alongside Spain, Peru, Switzerland, England, Colombia, Mexico, and Uruguay.

The pots have been confirmed in accordance with the October 2017 FIFA Rankings, and the Pot 1 contains top seeds: hosts Russia, world champions Germany, Brazil, European champions Portugal, Argentina, Belgium, Poland, and France.

The teams will drawn in eight groups by four, containing the maximum of two UEFA representatives, and the maximum of one representative per other confederations.
