Croatia international Matej Mitrović will spend the rest of the season on loan at Club Brugge, under the helm of a Croatian coach.
Turkish champions Besiktas and the leader of the Belgian championship Club Brugge have agreed upon a six-month loan deal for the Croatia defender Matej Mitrović, with a purchase option in the summer transfer window.
24-year-old Mitrović joined Besiktas in January 2017 from Rijeka, while this winter another Croatia international defender, Domagoj Vida, strengthened the Turkish side.
Former Croatia international Ivan Leko is currently the head coach of Club Brugge, while Ivan Tomečak joined in this winter transfer window from Mechelen.
Mitrović was capped nine times, scoring in an away qualifier at Kosovo.
