Milan Badelj signs with Lazio

Following his departure from Fiorentina, Milan Badelj opted to join Serie A rivals Lazio.
Croatia international midfielder Milan Badelj left Fiorentina upon contract expiry, deciding to sign a contract with Lazio, arriving to Rome to be presented at the new club.
Badelj made his first football steps at Ponikve and Dinamo Zagreb, later on moving to Hamburger SV. In 2014 he came to Florence, ultimately becoming the team captain.
He has 41 appearances for the national team, and at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia he won silver medal, and the Man of the Match award in the group stage encounter with Iceland.
