Three Croatia internationals are in contention for prestigious France Football Ballon d'Or award.
Following the 2018 FIFA World Cup Golden Ball in Russia, UEFA Player of the Year and The Best FIFA Men's Player, Luka Modrić is among the favourites to win France Football Ballon d'Or - with Croatia teammates Ivan Rakitić and Mario Mandžukić also on the list of nominees.
On Monday, France Football has presented 30 candidates, and alongside three Croatia internationals, Aguero, Alisson, Bale, Benzema, Cavani, Courtois, De Bruyne, Firmino, Godin, Griezmann, Hazard, Isco, Kane, Kante, Lloris, Mane, Marcelo, Mbappe, Messi, Neymar, Oblak, Pogba, Ronaldo, Salah, Ramos, Suarez, and Varane are in the running for the award.
The award ceremony is scheduled for December 3, with Cristiano Ronaldo as the winner in two previous editions.
