Croatia national football team faced Denmark in its fifth UEFA Nations League encounter this year, in the final international break before the World Cup in Qatar.
In the first half, neither team has managed to break the defensive walls. Defenders Šutalo and Gvardiol tried two headers, while on the other side Livaković managed to stop dangerous efforts by Maehle and Eriksen.

However, at the beginning of the second half, Sosa struck from the edge of the box and found the lower corner as Croatia took the lead.
Perišić, Modrić, and Kovačić followed suit, but couldn't find the target, and then Denmark managed to equalize, courtesy of a fantastic Eriksen effort on 77 minutes.
