Excellent performance
"It was important to win, to break that negative streak, and to boost our confidence. That is normal in football; the Euros are behind us, and I hope we learn from lapses in concentration. I think we played excellently; the score could have been better, but we can be satisfied with our approach. This is the way to go forward."

The goal
"The most important thing is the team's victory. The goal was beautiful, but the most important things are our play, unity, and fighting spirit. The fans were phenomenal; they carried us at the end when it was tough. There's always a bit of nervousness. We only allowed Poland that one chance from Lewandowski when he showed what a master he is."

The future
"We have shown in these two games that we have talent and quality for the future, and there is no need to be afraid. We will go game by game; we have changed some tactical things, and it will take time to perfect them. It might not all go smoothly, but we have to insist on it."
