The Croatian under-21 national football team defeated Hungary 0–2 in Budapest in their European Championship 2027 qualifying match.

The Croatian under-21 national side recorded their second consecutive victory in the qualifiers for the 2027 European Championship, which will be hosted by Albania and Serbia. Ivica Olić’s men celebrated a 0–2 win in Budapest.

Leon Grgić found the net for the second match in a row. He received the ball on the edge of the penalty area and beat the home goalkeeper with a precise shot to give Croatia the lead as early as the 17th minute.

Croatia’s victory was sealed by Luka Tunjić in the 90th minute. After Luka Vušković delivered a low ball from a free kick, Tunjić ran onto it and scored for the final 0–2.

Croatia will play their next match on 31 March 2026, hosting their main rival Turkey, who have taken over the top of the table with a game in hand — Turkey won 1–2 away in Lithuania.
