The draw for the second round of the UEFA European Championship for Women’s Under-17 teams determined the groups in the two leagues, with matches scheduled for spring 2026. Croatia have been placed in Group A2 alongside England, Italy and Turkey.
The draw was conducted by Halla Ejdesgaard, captain of the Faroe Islands national team at the 2025 final tournament, who accepted the Respect Fair Play Trophy on behalf of her team.

The winners of the League A groups will qualify for the final tournament in Northern Ireland, where they will be joined by the host nation. The seven teams finishing fourth in their groups will be relegated to League B for the first round of the next edition of the competition.
Teams are divided into two leagues based on results from the first round, and the groups will be played in a mini-tournament format at a single venue during the spring. Hosts will be appointed after the draw. Northern Ireland will take part in the second round despite already having secured a place at the finals.
League A will determine the teams qualifying for the final tournament, which will take place from 4 to 17 May 2026, while the draw for the final tournament is scheduled for 25 March 2026. Promotion and relegation between leagues ahead of the first round of the 2026/27 competition will also be decided. In addition, the tournament serves as a qualifying competition for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
