The President of the Croatian Football Federation, Marijan Kustić, watched the 2026 FIFA World Cup group draw at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., where the tournament that will be held next year in the USA, Canada, and Mexico was drawn.
Here are his first impressions:
“First of all, it is a great thing that we were in the USA for the World Cup group draw. This was truly something special — you saw yourselves how many times Croatia appeared in the promotional videos, along with our fans and the Croatian flag. All in all, it was a great promotion of Croatia. As for the draw itself, it could have been better and it could have been worse, but we can be satisfied. We know everything about England, and as for Panama and Ghana, coach Dalić and his staff will certainly do a thorough analysis and preparation, and the Croatian Football Federation will provide the players with the best possible conditions. Our people will immediately get to work and seek the best possible solution for the base camp,” said Marijan Kustić.
