The Vatreni arrive at their base camp in Alexandria

The Vatreni departed from Zagreb and landed in Washington, from where they continued their journey to Alexandria. There, they were greeted by a large crowd of enthusiastic Croatian supporters who gave their favorites a warm and heartfelt welcome.

The base camp in Alexandria consists of the AKA Hotel and the training facilities at Episcopal High School. The Vatreni will be based in Alexandria, Virginia, just a short distance from the U.S. capital, Washington, D.C.
