Moro: “England Are excellent, but we shouldn’t underestimate the tther teams in the group either”

On the growing number of Croatians in Serie A...

“It’s great to see more and more Croatians in Italy. We’re constantly playing against each other, and whenever we meet, we talk about everything — just like we do here when we’re together with the national team.”

On the Vatreni players in MLS...

“Petar Musa and Marco Pašalić are excellent players. They’re working hard, improving, and are hungry for success and new challenges. They’re keeping pace with us Europeans. The work being done in MLS is just as good as in Europe.”

On England...

“England have players who regularly play in the biggest matches. They have intensity, and in every position they have exceptional individuals. As for expectations, the coach has already been very clear, so I wouldn’t want to repeat what he said. England are certainly the strongest opponent in the group, but we shouldn’t underestimate any of the other teams either. They have tremendous quality, and England’s internationals are used to playing at a very high intensity. There are many players capable of making the difference. England are an outstanding team with outstanding individuals.”

On following Croatia’s matches in Russia and Qatar...

“In Russia, I was at the stadium for the semifinal because I was injured at the time. I watched the final, as well as the third-place match in Qatar, with my family.”
