Croatia head coach Niko Kovač commented on the UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying draw.
The qualifying draw in Nice decided that Croatia will face Italy, Norway, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan and Malta in the Group H.
"Considering the Group H, I am satisfied", said Niko Kovač, Croatia head coach, who was present at the draw procedure together with the Croatian Football Federation delegation.
"To put it objectively, I believe that Italy and Croatia are the favourites. However, I have to say that Bulgaria, Norway, Azerbaijan and Malta are all competitive teams and we will have to adjust to their different styles", he added.
Niko Kovač is convinced that Croatia will reach another major European tournament, to be played with 24 teams for the first time: "The qualifying round will be interesting, yet I feel optimistic and I think positively".
