FIFA confirms Šimunić sanctions

FIFA Appeal Committee has rejected Josip Šimunić's appeal and confirmed his 10-match international ban.
After his chant following the World Cup play-off match between Croatia and Iceland in Zagreb, Josip Šimunić was banned for 10 international matches. An additional fine of CHF 30,000 was also imposed by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee.
Šimunić has appealed, but the FIFA Appeal Committee has upheld the decision and confirmed the mentioned sanctions in full.
Josip Šimunić was capped 105 times, and scored three goals for Croatia.
