Once again, Bad Tatzmannsdorf will host the Croatian national football team, and head coach Niko Kovač was one of the guests at the press conference in the Austrian resort.
Bad Tatzmannsdorf was the base camp for Croatia during the European Championships in 2008, and from May 23rd, 2014, until the friendly match with Mali, Niko Kovač's men will be preparing for the FIFA World Cup at the same Austrian town.
The hosts were delighted to welcome the Croatian team once more, and their hospitality was extraordinary.
"We have made friends in the Croatian team, and let this renewed visit confirm that friendship. We'll do our best to make the team feel comfortable", said Peter Prisching, general manager of the Avita Resort and Football Arena Bad Tatzmannsdorf.
Croatia head coach, Niko Kovač, is convinced that his players will have everything at their disposal during the stay in Austria.
"On behalf of the Croatian Football Federation, I would like to thank our hosts for the warm welcome. Croatia was very well received here in 2008 and it wasn't difficult to decide to come again. The conditions here are the best, and there is nothing the hosts wouldn't do for us. As a player, I have seen a lot of resorts, and I can confirm that we have done a wonderful job by agreeing to come to Bad Tatzmannsdorf", he said.
"I am looking forward to the tournament in Brazil, where Croatia can proudly present itself in front of the billions of people, starting with the opening match with the Brazilians. I haven't decided on the preliminary player list yet, but the most important thing is that all of them avoid injuries and play regularly for their clubs. Then I have pleasant worries", concluded Kovač.
