Croatia holds first practice session

On Wednesday, Croatian national football team officially started the preparations for the World Cup.
In front of 200 supporters at the Hrvatski dragovoljac Stadium in Zagreb, Croatian national team held its first practice session in preparation for the World Cup. Head coach Niko Kovač had Olić, Lovren, Perišić, Jelavić, Pašalić and Zelenika available, while Ćorluka was absent out of precaution after today's medical test.
Niko Kovač came back from Slavonia to lead his players.
During the evening, Vrsaljko, Bubnjić, Brozović, Kovačić, Močinić, Rebić, Čop and Sammir will join their teammates, and the remaining internationals will join tomorrow.
Defender Ivan Strinić is still recovering from his injury.
Medical test for players were conducted at the Faculty of Kinesiology and the Magdalena Clinic, under the supervision of the medical staff chief Zoran Bahtijarević.
