Croatia, welcome to Brasil

Croatian national football team arrived to Tivoli Ecoresort, its base camp during the World Cup in Brasil.

Croatia travelled via Lisbon to Salvador, and was transported by bus to Praia do Forte in Bahia, where it will stay during the next couple of weeks.

The hosts organized a nice welcome party for the Croatian players and coaching staff. Instead of the scheduled practice session at the traning ground, the players had a fitness session at Tivoli hotel.

National team was also welcomed by Croatian Football Federation president Davor Šuker, as well as the Mata de Sao Joao local representatives.

The first practice session in Brazil will be held on Wednesday (17:00), at the beautiful Campo da Croacia. Head coach Niko Kovač and team captain Darijo Srna will attend the press conference at 10:00.

At dinner, Croatian players were welcomed by Drago Štambuk, the ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Brazil.
