Croatian international Ante Rebić completed his loan move to German second-division side RB Leipzig.
During the upcoming season, Croatia and AC Fiorentina striker Ante Rebić will play for RasenBallsport Leipzig. The Italian club agreed a year-long loan with the German side.
Rebić joined Fiorentina last summer, but the strong competition limited his opportunities under the coach Vincenzo Montella. There, a solution was to be found to allow Rebić to develop his potential.
The ambitious RB Leipzig was quick to react, bringing in Rebić as well as German defender Marvin Compper who signed a three-year contract.
20-year-old Rebić made an appearance in all of Croatia World Cup matches, but due to the sending-off against Mexico he is ruled out for the first EURO 2016 qualifier against Malta.
"Ante Rebić is already an experienced player. His dynamics and dribbling abilities will improve the team. He brings more quality to Leipzig", said sporting director Ralf Rangnick.
