Real Madrid's Luka Modrić wins European Supercup

Real Madrid scored two unanswered goals against Sevilla FC on Tuesday night in Cardiff, with Luka Modrić adding another trophy to his collection.
Champions League winners Real Madrid and Europa League winners Sevilla FC met in Wales to decide the owner of the European Supercup trophy.
Real Madrid took the spoils, with a Cristiano Ronaldo's brace. The Portuguese star found the net in 30th and 49th minute to make it 2:0.
Croatian international Luka Modrić started the match in the Carlo Ancelotti's first team. In the 86th minute, he was replaced by Asier Illarramendi.
Modrić was part of the triumphant Real Madrid side that won La Decima last season, while Ivan Rakitić captained Sevilla FC to the Europa League trophy. In the summer transfer window, Rakitić moved to Real Madrid's fiercest rivals, FC Barcelona.
