Young Croatian international Tin Jedvaj has agreed to stay in Leverkusen until 2020.
On Tuesday, German top-flight side Bayer Leverkusen, that took 19-year-old Tin Jedvaj from AS Roma on a two-year loan last summer, completed the transfer.
Jedvaj has 18 more months on his loan contract, but according to the this January transfer window terms, Croatian international will stay with Bayer until 30 June 2020.
"I am happy. Bayer are the best option for me and good for my development. I really want to stay at Leverkusen", said the former Dinamo Zagreb defender.
Rudi Völler, Bayer sporting director, added: "Tin Jedvaj has great potential and has consistently shown that in the few months he’s been at Bayer. His versatility will certainly pay off for us. So we decided to sign Tin straight away".
In September last year, Tin Jedvaj made his debut for Croatian senior national team, and also appeared in November in London against Argentina.
