Ivana Rudelić appointed assistant coach at VfB Stuttgart

Croatia women's national team all-time leading scorer Ivana Rudelić has embarked on a new chapter in her football career after being appointed assistant coach of VfB Stuttgart's women's first team.

Following the conclusion of an outstanding playing career, Rudelić will join head coach Nico Schneck's coaching staff as VfB Stuttgart prepare for their inaugural season in the German Women's Bundesliga.

Rudelić left a lasting mark on Croatian women's football during her international career. She made 68 appearances for the Croatia women's senior national team and scored a record 24 goals, a tally that still makes her the team's all-time leading scorer.

Alongside the start of her professional coaching career, Rudelić continues to further her coaching education and is currently completing the UEFA A Licence programme at the Croatian Football Federation's Football Academy.

Her appointment to the coaching staff of a German Bundesliga club represents another significant milestone for one of Croatia's most distinguished female footballers and an important step forward in her development as a coach.
