In agreement with the Croatian Football Federation, Luka Pavlović leaves the helm of Croatia U-17 national team.
Croatia U-17 head coach Luka Pavlović agrees to terminate his contract and end his term that started on 25 October 2013.
Pavlović's team secured the European Championships Elite Round berth, yet the progress requirement of the Croatian Football Federation staff was not met.
"We would like to thank Luka Pavlović for his work. He has proved to be an extraordinary person and that he had deserved to be the head coach, but our opinion was that this generation need even bigger step forward, and another approach to use its full potential. We will suggest the best possible solution as soon as possible", said HNS Technical Director, Romeo Jozak.
In March, Croatia U-17 will play the Elite Round in Azerbaijan, facing the host team, Serbia and Portugal. The group winners, as well as the seven runners-up, will qualify for the European Championships.
