Croatian Football Federation will host the first round of the UEFA European Women’s Under-17 Championship 2026/27 qualifying competition, marking the start of a new qualifying cycle leading to the final tournament in Finland in 2027.

In League A, 28 teams have been drawn into seven groups of four teams each, with matches played as one-venue mini-tournaments. The competition format sees teams competing for progression to Round 2, while the seven fourth-placed teams will be relegated to League B. Although Finland are participating in the qualifiers, their place at the final tournament is secured as hosts.

League B consists of 22 teams divided into groups of three and four, with group winners and the best runner-up earning promotion to League A for Round 2.

Round 2 of the League A competition will determine the seven teams joining hosts Finland at the final tournament. The tournament will also serve as UEFA’s European qualifier for the 2027 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
